The Gatehouse Inn is closed for remodeling effective February 15, 2005 in hopes of re-opening in time for the summer season.  After considering the offers that have come to us for acquiring the Inn by some of our guests and other interested parties, we have decided to place the Inn on the market in April.  We believe it is time to pass on this beautiful place of history to another owner who will continue to present The Gatehouse in all of its grandeur.  At this time, we are not accepting any future reservations.  Should you have an interest in finding out more about the availability of the Inn for purchase, please direct all inquiries to me at

Nestled in the quaint town of Pacific Grove on California's spectacular Monterey Peninsula, The Gatehouse Inn offers stunning views of beautiful Monterey Bay. This stately Victorian home has been lovingly restored to capture the warmth and nostalgia of its golden days.

In essence, the Gatehouse Inn mirrors the romance and simplicity of life depicted in the paintings of Thomas Kinkade, the world's most collected living artist.
